"We had a lovely stay at the Kames hotel. It was really busy and buzzing but the staff still took the time to make is feel really welcome. The meal in the evening was delicious and our little dog enjoyed the treats. Would certainly visit again 😁"

"We loved our stay. Clean and very large room with extra seating area and large bathroom. Very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We walked the grounds and saw some seals swimming. We ordered an afternoon tea and had a little car trouble so we called to let them know we’d miss it and they packed up all the food for us to take with us the next day. So thoughtful. The bar and restaurant were great. The grounds and views are beautiful. It’s a little bit of a drive from anything...

"Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi"

"This is a very good hotel , and the best value for money on the island. It is quite clearly an old hotel but very well looked after. The one down point for me would be the attention to detail with the cleaning of the rooms. The shower tray had hairs in it, the teaspoons and mugs were not clean. The carpet had quite a few "suspect" stains. Would definitely stay here again, but covered everything we needed to do on the island so probably wont be back for that reason. The breakfast was great."
