"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We are so happy we choose the Minn Gion for our stay - The hotel was very well appointed and it was SO nice to have in suite laundry (and dryer) in our room part way through our trip. The hotel is located perfectly. You are a VERY short walk into old Kyoto and a short walk to incredible shopping and experiences.
We had two of our best meals at Hikiniku to Come and Gyoza Hohei - Both were absolutely worth lining up for and were a short walk from the hotel.

"The room is even better in person. Really big, you can tell that everything is new. The hotel provided more than I was expecting. Location is great, near to bus stops and train station, supermarkets and restaurants. If I ever go back to Kyoto, I'd definitely gonna go back to the same place. "
