"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"Increíble habitación, a tal grado que una tarde decidimos quedarnos a disfrutar de las instalaciones para descansar un poco después de tanto caminar los días previos.
Muy moderna y bien diseñada, con vibras de Ryokan tradicional, pero con todas las comodidades de un hotel moderno boutique. Fue nuestro hotel favorito de todo el viaje!
Se siente mucho mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos, el sauna, la tina, las camas, todos los detalles, 10/10!"

"The hotel was very clean, very close to the station and skytree, and had all the amenities we needed (even an air frier, rice cooker, and washer and drier) only issue we had was that there was no elevators so lugging 11 luggages up and down the narrow stairs was difficult."

Incredibly friendly, English-fluent staff.
Exceptionally clean, large rooms for Japan featuring kitchenettes, separate living/dining spaces, and in-room washing machines.

"Absolutely beautiful hotel right in the center of everywhere you want to be in Kyoto. We loved the stunning lobby and rooms and how quiet / pretty the area around the hotel was. Yet it was also just a short walk to all the best bars, restaurants, and attractions. The staff was very kind and made us feel comfortable. The free coffee in the morning and sake bar at night were amazing touches that we loved using each day. The room was so comfortable and the washer and dryer in the room were...
