Hotel Romantis di Kyoto

"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"Staff was so helpful! Location was perfect!"

"Quarto maravilhoso, estilo japonês, grande e confortável. A localização deixa um pouco a desejar, meio afastado. O horários do check in a partir das 16hs e principalmente o de check out as 10 hs ,me desagradou."

"Ein schönes und großzügiges Zimmer für eine Familie mit einem separaten Schlafzimmer und Bad. Sehr gut und ruhig gelegen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen."

"The owner/managers very very nice people and extremely helpful. The location was excellent as it was right next to the main food market in town and also within walking distance of many areas with attractions. If we come back to Kyoto we would love to stay here again."

"Amazing, highly reccommended!"

"great location"

"We loved staying here and would definitely stay again if we visited Kyoto. Very friendly and helpful staff, amenities available to us were really useful and our room was perfect for what we needed. We also loved the convenient location to local temples, shopping, restaurants and multiple local train stations which made getting around very easy even with our baby. Very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone."

"Location!"

"It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful garden patio view. The staff was so very friendly and helpful."

"This quaint hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and rooms were a good size. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Kyoto. It was a short walk to Nishiki market and had tons of local restaurants near it too."

"Great spot! Pretty self service for the most part but a great spot right in Gion."

"Good location. This is our 2nd stay in Cross Kyoto We love the location and the staff are helpfull. Definitely will come back."

"Check in was smooth;staff were very polite and courteous; it was conveniently located. The only minor criticism was buffet breakfast was pretty average. There was only one coffee machine. A lot of people like to drink coffee such as latte, cappuccino, and espresso (not American drip coffee) the first thing in a morning. It would be good to offer either one complimentary proper cafe style coffee or provide at least two coffee machines so that people don’t need to list and up in a long line to...
