There were a few positive aspects of my stay. I appreciated the breakfast offerings, and I would also like to acknowledge the housekeeping staff for their kindness and professionalism when they returned to address concerns in my room. They were accommodating and courteous.
However, several issues significantly impacted my comfort and sense of safety during my stay. First, I was disappointed by the unexpected $69 per night parking charge, which was not clearly communicated beforehand and added substantial unexpected costs to my visit.
Additionally, the overall condition and upkeep of the hotel appeared outdated and poorly maintained. There was peeling glue and exposed uncapped areas around the sink that appeared brown and unsanitary. The headboard contained visible stains, which housekeeping later addressed after I reported the issue. The furniture throughout the room also had multiple stains to the point that I did not feel comfortable sitting on it.
Most concerning was the balcony door lock. It felt extremely flimsy and insecure, as though it could easily be opened with enough force. This made me feel unsafe throughout my stay and raised serious concerns regarding guest security.
