"Great location Good breakfast Friendly staff"

"Super location. Restaurant staff are delightful and very helpful. We were staying with our dog & he was allowed to join both outside then inside (it became too chilly to sit outside for dinner). "Wonderful stay at the hotel, visiting La Rochelle on return from Il de Re. Situated in a quiet street but only 10 minutes walk from the harbour and 20 from the station it is ideally situated. "Everything went well. Situated nicely. Easy to get to the port and also the main shopping. Parking was close. Our room was as spacious as I had hoped. Staff was great upon arrival and pretty much didn't need them after that."

"Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and our room was spacious and pleasantly decorated. Our big disappointment was the meal in the restaurant which took the shine off our stay. For the evening meal my wife chose rabbit as her main course and it was very chewy as it had not been cooked slowly in a sauce. I chose trout with a mixture of vegetables. Sadly the trout was totally tasteless."
