Belle Époque architecture frames this thermal spa town where visitors soak in mineral-rich waters at Les Grands Thermes. Families enjoy the scenic Fenestre Park with its mini-golf course, while the historic casino offers entertainment without the gaming tables.
I can't fault L'Ajasserie - I visited last year under the previous owner and, if anything, it's improved already under its new owner and she's only just getting started. I felt completely welcome and catered for, and treated as an individual rather than a number on a balance-sheet. Top marks.

Beautiful and stylish manor, very clean and stylish rooms, I slept very well. The manager (or owner ?) is helpful and friendly. Free parking onsite and the views from the window are beautiful. A B&B with character and style. I recommend it.

Quick one nigh stay. Great views of city with easy access. Next to thermal spa but didn't use. Great restaurant and wine list. Close to other local bars and restaurants

The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs.
We ate a couple of times in the restaurant opposite that's associated with the hotel. Food was excellent both...

The apartments aren't very big but are well equipped with all you need for self catering. The location is perfect for skiing at Super Besse and overall this trip worked out much cheaper than staying in a hotel and eating out every night.
