"Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations."

"Lovely quaint hotel. Staff attentive and helpful.
As per other reviews yes there are no lifts second floor rooms are a slight hike up. Yes the rooms could do with upgrading but for what you pay for a night and an ease of access to the port no complaints from us.
We had a family quadruple room, good size but really warm room, no air con small windows but lots of road noise when open"

"The breakfast was disappointing for the price point charged.
The room and bathroom were nice sized;
the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were not good quality as well.
There was great air conditioning but the blanket provided retained your body heat; we were very comfy when we went to bed but very hot starting about three hours after going to sleep."

"The Chateau is very charming and quaint. The rooms don’t offer air conditioning but they provided fans. Initially the fan we had was blowing heat and the staff couldn’t locate a different one for us so we saw them assembling something at registration and when we returned to our room later there was a brand new, better fan waiting for us. It was much appreciated given the heat wave. The mattresses are hard and lumpy. The location is fantastic! It was a great late afternoon when we could sit in...

"Reception staff we so helpful… attentive and actually concerned about helping us with any question or concerns we expressed! Room was spacious and very clean. Views from the hotel (room/restaurant) were spectacular. Meals in the restaurant were delicious and wait staff very helpful and attentive. "We loved our stay at Hotel St. Patrice! This historic building has a lot of character and the owners are lovely and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable. It’s is well located near many restaurants and attractions in the lovely little town of Bayeux. We did the breakfast one of the mornings and it was delicious and a good value. Only thing to be aware of is they close from 12-4 each day. Unfortunately we arrived just after noon and had to carry our bags...
