A very difficult and steep ascent up to an altitude of almost 4500 meters. To get there you have to take a bus to Apizaco where you change to a smaller bus which goes up to the Centro Vacacional where the hike starts. Start as early as possible as there are only 2 or 3 buses a day between Apizaco and the Centro Vacacional.
