"It was a little confusing where to park on the mainland. I emailed hotel asking for parking code which worked on the gate. Check in on mainland and take free bus across the water to Mont Saint Michel. We left luggage in the car and had items we needed for the night in our backpacks which is definitely the way to go as we never could have hauled our luggage up the cobblestone street and then up 6 flights of narrow stairs to our room. Be sure to save your parking ticket as you will need it to exit...

"Perfect location at the island entrance. Close to the ramparts entrances including a 2nd floor exit at the back of the hotel directly onto the ramparts. Staff were very helpful and accommodating especially in handling our luggage before checkin and holding it after checkout until we departed. A quiet hotel and nice ambiance!"

"On est arrivé à 22h environ. quelle surprise...notre chambre avait été attribuée à une autre personne. Nous avons du attendre 45 minutes pour avoir une chambre. Pour nous faire patienter on nous propose une colation...ma femme choisi de l'eau pétillante, on lui apporte une carafe d'eau. On nous donne une chambre ou la clim ne peut pas se régler, ou la douche est défectueuse. on entendait tout y compris les ébats amoureux d'un couple. Bien entendu pas de dédommagement. "Only two issues at this hotel: The carpet was dirty to the point it felt dirty, and the picture for the room online showed a view from the windows of the bay. The room was in the back of the hotel and the window faced the wall of the walkway directly below, not facing the village or the bay. Was told by reception that I reserved a “village view” room, which I didn’t. Nowhere on the reservation did it ask me if I wanted a bay view or village view.
