"Excellent breakfast bar. Restaurant adjoining is excellent mexican (guac portion is huge!). Staff very accomodating. On streetcar line. Very happy overall."

"It’s a charming hotel in a great location in the garden district. The trolley runs right outside the door. Beds were comfortable, room spacious and the air conditioning very noisy. The meals we ate were delicious. My biggest complaint was the staff. We asked for things multiple times and by the end of our stay had still not received what we asked for."

"Not a fancy place but oh yes, excellent place if you are looking for a homely environment that’s very clean and wonderful staff. The room at this place was really huge and very clean. I usually never take a bath but I did at this place, so you can tell how clean this place was. There’s a good Chinese restaurant across the street. Overall, i liked this place a lot. Mostly if you are traveling solo, business trip or looking for budget place but 5star cleanliness/friendly front desk staff…book at the Riverside Hotel"

"I reserved this hotel for a family member for the 2nd year in a row. He loves staying at this hotel due to its reasonable price, room size, lovely court yard pool and all the available amenities for a traveler."

"Overall - good hotel, wonderful staff. However, if you are traveling with handicap - this is not a good hotel choice. Handicap room, had very little room to maneuver a wheel chair. The bath had no bench, and while it had bars, was in no way accessible. There were rails in bathroom, but none designed for toilet use. The room appeared to be a normal room that the elected to throw some metal bars up haphazardly and then define it as accessible. So while the other parts of the hotel are fine, and the staff was great - this is NOT AN ACCESSIBLE HOTEL."

"Great experience and easy access to most locations around the area. The staff was very friendly and check-in was effortless. The only slight minus was housekeeping visited every other day and we had to repeatedly request extra towels. Also, the dining for breakfast was great and there were tasty cookies at the check-in reception counter on one evening during our visit."
