"What a beautiful hotel nestled in a vineyard in Tuscany. The atmosphere was incredible, such friendly and happy staff and restaurant. The breakfast was lovely! I could not recommend this hotel more. This was our first stay in Italy on our trip from Canada, we couldn’t have asked for more."

"A little far away from Siena, but buses came by regularly and taxi's only cost about 12 Euros to get you to and from Siena."

"We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."

"Wonderful stay! Very helpful, clean, friendly, and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing along with the dinner. We had dinner at the restaurant next door the first night and it was very good. Our trip to Siena was great. Only thing I would say is the beds are hard. But that really a very small complaint. We were there for two nights. Gorgeous place for a wedding."

"La struttura e' un palazzo antico ristrutturato, non siete in un 5 stelle ma la camera e' pulita e piacevole, la colazione e' buona e c'e' una bella vista sulle colline. Il posto e' molto tranquillo. Lo consiglio"

"Staff very helpful, hotel was fine but very dated. The bathroom felt a little bit grubby. Had a few issues with the keys which were eventually solved, but no major problems. Good location, near to a major bus stop to go into central Siena. It’s worth noting that buses are quite unreliable in the evening so you may have to get a taxi back to the hotel (10-12 euros ish)."

"Get ready because when you drive here, this is off the grid. Actually the last 2 km are a narrow one-way street. If you rent a car, don’t get anything fancy get an SUV. Now when I arrived, I was greeted by amazing front and staff. Got to my room, which was an amazing villa. Love the property, it was very quiet. I am a solo traveler, and do not recommend it for a solo traveler, unless you just wanna get away from it all. Let’s put it this way, I was the only single person there amongst the maybe...
