Property is really nice and has plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. The beds also slept surprisingly well. However, on the last night of our stay the bathroom ceiling started leaking and it sounded like someone was taking a shower all night.

Entrance front of house of chipped at bottom as wood was worn out. Lots of critters in front of entrance. Cob webs inside house, light bulb in kitchen took 1 hour to turn on by Day 2 as well as outlets in kitchen stopped working. Air unit display was not accurate although maintenance came by. Informed to disregard reading showing 78 degrees but use a device to read the vents in the ground to prove the air unit was lesser. However, what sense did that make if the air quality was a hot humid and musky experience. We decided to find another place 35 minutes away thankfully last minute and had a good working air unit along with outlets and light bulbs and a very modern look. Will talk further with mgmt. as we don't complain but this was not a good experience (we have pics as proof). Front desk was friendly but this rental was too old and needs a total remake.

Callaway Gardens

Out cottage was beautiful, spacious, and super comfortable. The surroundings are amazing and there is lots to do at Callaway Gardens. We love our yearly trips!!

Labor Day couples retreat was wonderful! Cabin 107 was updated and clean (did have to air out due to the damp odor). Staff was friendly and responded promptly to ensure our stay was great.

Not a Good Choice

Do not rent #14! Everything except the bathroom is old, worn out, out of date, or dirty. All the cookware was in really bad shape. I would't even donate it to a charity! The carpet has huge stains on it in the living/dining area. The front door didn't close properly. The only light in the upstairs loft is in the ceiling fan. There isn't a bedside light. We had other family members stay in another chalet w/same layout and it had been completely renovated and was the same price. Felt like we overpaid. I told the office and asked for a partial refund. They said they'd mention it to the owners. Crickets....heard nothing.

Setting was amazing! The house was comfortable and nice, but really needed a deep cleaning. There were a lot of spiders. But, the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed our outdoor time and enjoyed fishing. It was a peaceful retreat, which is exactly what we needed. Would stay again!

Nice resort!

It was a nice resort, lots of outdoor activities and very close to Callaway Gardens. The chalet we stayed in was a nice facility, however it was not clean. I reported the condition of the chalet to the front desk at departure. The manager called me almost immediately to express her apologies for the condition of the chalet.

This is an excellent place to stay. I was very pleased except for the fact that multiple electrical outlets were loose, making it difficult to keep phones and computers charged. Other than that it was good and was a fun trip.

The first thing we noticed was that there was not free wifi. We called about it several times but never got a working password. Then we began seeing bugs and spiders. When the roof started leaking, that was the last straw. The cabin was expensive and definitely not worth the money! We will never go back.
