"What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! "The property was conveniently located and surrounded by retail stores and dinner options. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However the room was disappointing. The kitchen and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, not all electric outlets were working and the hair dryer was also not working…luckily I brought my own. Lack of attention to detailed cleaning as we found cobwebs near the air conditioner and under the lamp shades."

"Breakfast included an alternating choice of omelets as well as sausage (sometimes with a turkey sausage option), cubed home fried potatoes, sausage gravy (and biscuits if they hadn't run out), various breads and muffins, cereals, and a pancake machine. Staff frequently checked and refilled offerings. When checking in, I was offered the chance to display a tag for no maid service in exchange for extra points. I put it up for the first day since I hadn't had a chance to mess things up that soon....

"It was fine, but if you stay ask if there is a soccer tournament happening because there were many, many children running around making noise and a mess. The parents weren't really watching them and they took over the whole lobby. They were very loud and up early, which meant we were up early. That all put a dent in our stay."

"We stayed for 3 nights and this was our first trip to Vermont. The location was very good and there was plenty of parking space. We expected some warm continental breakfast but only donuts and coffee&teas. The room was enough space and easy to access but little old and it was little bit smelly. We enjoyed warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Anyway we enjoyed our staying in Burlington and want to come back again in autumn or in winter again. But I may stay in other hotels next time even pay little...

"property was fine. The extra $5.00 charge on my credit card was annoying. Claimed it was for internet use. I did not choose to upgrade to faster internet. Used it only briefly and did not want or need higher speed. I do not appreciate being charged extra for internet use. We will think seriously about using Choice hotels when they sneak extra charges on your bill."

"Beautiful remodeled room with kitchen built in. All of the amenities you should want. Staff was most helpful in answering questions I had, rebooking for another night's stay and in seeing to it that my needs were met. Had an excellent view of Camel's Hump from my fourth floor room. A bonus!!"

"First of all the light when we walked into our room didn’t work and it was very dark so that was dangerous. On the outside of our room there were garbage bags that were open. We didn’t use the continental breakfast because it was pouring rain and we would have had to walk to it. It seemed all the guests were bringing in dogs!!!! The set up inside was nice and the bed was very comfortable."

"Overall the stay was ok. If In had brought my children, we would have not checked in. Checked in—smelled of weed upon walking in. Hallways smelled of pet pee. Pool was closed. Outside many homeless people (they did not bother anyone) but as a single female traveler it wasn’t the most comfortable at night. Rooms clean."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local...
