"Front desk staff are amazing - Sarah, Vanessa and Roman. Did not get the staff member name on the breakfast area and she was just as amazing. Rooms are clean, nice size. Windows opened to get fresh air on the cool spring nights. Quiet area as far as vehicles. Some young folks out late at night talking but not too long or loud. Bed and linens were especially comfortable. Bath towels not so much ☹️ Not a fan of the all in one products for shower, hand, body and hair shampoo product. This one was really nice though. Bring your own products if you prefer to have something other than the all in one. Great location, easy to walk down the side of the river to the lake. A lot of places to eat and shop. Very close to train and bus stations. We loved our stay at the Bristol Hotel."

"Facility needs to keep up. No air conditioning, room always warm, can’t open the window because of musquito. Warm room, no air conditioning, thick comforter is only choice. Not very good five nights we had. Cleanliness is terrible from flooring, wall around. Coffee for guests at lobby is instance coffee. Not recommend to anyone."

"Almost 500 rooms but you wouldn't really know it. 24hr Reception staff were efficient, spoke English and were professional. The dining room for breakfast was roomy and well set out. Food choices were a little limited but quality was excellent. It had a bar and courtyard to chill out in. Perhaps my only negative was disability access, the front of the property had stairs, you had to walk around the side and rear entrance to gain access if you had heavy bags or were had limited physical mobility. Rooms were adequate, clean, bathroom was on the smaller side. Overall, a great place to stay."

"Disgusting!! Shower wand was broken, no soap in dispenser, shower curtain stucj to you while tryijg to shower, pillows were flat and small, homeless people outside and graffiti across te street. I felt very unsafe and tried to talk to hotel and they never responded. Talked to Expedia and was denied refund to book at another hotel. "

"Upon arrival, we got to our double room and I was surprised how small the room was, but it suited our needs as we didn’t plan on spending much time in the room, but rather exploring. The bathroom was nice with a powerful blow dryer! The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I’m typically picky. Be aware though, there was no air conditioner and the room was very stuffy, end of April. You will need to use windows. We did not eat breakfast there but did have coffee, which we were charged for. 9 CHF for 2 coffees! The staff was good but not overly helpful or friendly! Finally, we thought the location was very great! Close to most things and a very close walk to the main train station. Overall, we had a lovely time and the hotel was pretty good and very quiet! "
