"I was given a room and the odor was very bad and then I asked to change the room immediately the staff was helpful and they changed the room and the second room there was a water leak from the roof and the carpet was wet inside then again the staff changed me to the third room and where I still had the same issue water leak from the roof and carpet was wet and smells very bad"

"The pros: free wifi free parking (there are plenty with shades) cheaper than other hotels around free breakfast good staff The cons: weed smell everywhere.. I had to hold my breath walking outside. dog urine smell everywhere.. again same thing. Suggestion: make it a smoke-free hotel. or at least having a designated area for smokers have a designated area far away from the rooms where dogs can do their business and have pouches available for pickups."

"They pay a lot of attention to cleanliness, the housekeeping staff does a very good job. Amenities are very basic but sufficient, the free breakfast was improved to add toaster waffles but there is no protein (but there a Waffle House only steps away). Convenient location to I-10 and to the Slidell Old Town and city center (7-8 minutes away). Good value for the price."

"The room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was satisfactory, the dining room was very cold though. The cleaning and cooking staff were very friendly and attentive. The biggest thing I didn't care for was, the 25 dollar early check in fee I was charged, for checking in 2 hours early. I thought that was unnecessary. That's really my main complaint."

However. people sneak in their pets. and they have been told before that there is a cat urine smell. After we checked out of the hotel they were going to steam the carpet to help with the odor. "The property was clean and well cared for. The night we checked in there was dinner and it was tasty. The breakfast was good grits, potatoes etc. I don't eat pork. The meals would be better if there was options for people that don't eat pork. I was really impressed with the property."
