"Nice rooms, nice pool, nice distant view of the sea. Tucked away from busy streets which will appeal to some but others will miss being close to restaurants and bars. Breakfast is available but you need to drive to get lunch and dinner as there is no restaurant onsite. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t mind driving out and arranging dinner in advance."

The layout of the bathroom could be improved since the toilet is positioned between the drain and the shower head meaning that the entire bathroom gets wet when you have a shower. "Disappointing. This is a spacious gated resort. The Marina Hotel is a 4 storey building at one edge. A shuttle service is necessary to get to the restaurant and activity areas which are about 2Km away These shuttle vehicles must be summoned by phone. These vehicles are high and awkward. I am 70 and could not manage the steps up. If you are over 30 and even slightly heavy you will struggle. Shuttle buses only operate within the resort. "We had such wonderful experiences and rainforest environments the monkeys and birds were such a surprise and a super attendant lady name Jessica who helped us with a tour and was extra. The icing on the cake was the beautiful set up for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time!!🤗"

The place needs some maintenance..view from my balcony included a wall of black mold caused by unmaintained guttering. The wait staff for breakfast could do with some training in hospitality i.e. "whatya want" with a glum look doesn't really cut it.
