"This is a very basic hotel - at top price due to location. If you are UK it's a Travellodge, France it's an Ibis Budget. Wondefull views from front bedroom. Inclusive dinner very nice for one night. Very convenient for ferry / train."

"Great stay, of course pricey given summer demand, but it was a nice hotel, with a great breakfast. I want to specifically mention gratitude and appreciation for one of the staff members who brought a wedding ring we left behind in the bathroom over to the Fretheim Hotel. I unfortunately didn't get their name, but it saved us a trip and the cost of getting back over there since we didn't have a vehicle."
