I booked this hotel on Expedia for two nights DecThey are unprofessional and don’t even have a computer where they manage guest records and reservation. They have a notebook where they write everything like this is 1882. Expedia should de-list them. They use Expedia and other booking platforms to advertise their hotels but when you get there, particularly during peak periods like Detty December, they will tell you they don’t have the room but if you are willing to pay a higher price directly to them (out of booking platform), they would check you in. It’s fraud most hotels perform in Lagos to defraud unsuspecting travelers.

Everyone that worked there was so friendly and welcoming!! Very nice and comfortable rooms. Hotel was in walking distance from several things around town. Being from out of the country, I was very concerned...but everyone there made me feel very welcomed and right at home. Planning on a couple more stays there when my husband or I are in town and need a place to stay

Look for Another Hotel

First time to Lagos. I live in the US. Cons: 1. One of the cleaning staff went through my items and stole money from me. The manger pretended to do a thorough investigation. She told me she reviewed the cameras and questioned the 2 people that entered my room that day, but also asked the 2 people did anyone else go into the room. (She would have known that answer if she actually reviewed the cameras). So someone stole my money and went unpunished. The manager kept saying they have never had this type of issue (yeah right!). They did not offer a free meal, late checkout, nothing to rectify the situation. 2. The rooms need renovating. The shower knobs were rusting. The sink handle was hanging of the base. The bed's mattress was extremely hard and I often woke up to a sore back. 3. The food prices were not worth the taste with the exception of their egg sauce. 4. When I pulled the room curtain, a roach fell out. 5. The hotel was loud and walls were thin, Some guests got into a violent fight in the room next to me at 3am. The incident lasted at least 20 minutes. Once again, not even an apology from management. 6. The pictures online are deceiving of the rooms. Pros: The pool is open all day.

Decent hotel for the price. It was a shaky start, the shower didn't work after first use, the toilet also wouldn't flush after first use but after informing the front desk, maintenance was sent promptly and fixed the issues. FYI bring extra cash with you because it seems like everyone who helps you in the slightest way passively demanded for tips. Water pressure in the shower was low, also had to kill one of the biggest cockroach I've ever seen in the shower, and WiFi is unbelievably shaky, but besides all that, it's in a decent area, and the food from the restaurant was good!

Very quiet atmosphere with no view.

A/C not working properly, called management to fix the aging cooling system that's very necessary in that environment. Food at their restaurant is presented nicely and food was tasty. Staff was friendly and willing to provide services needed.

Happy in Lagos!

Overall, I was really impressed with the Tudor House Hotel. The staff was always friendly and the rooms were nicely decorated. The restaurant/bar was always filled with professionals and even the management team/owners that were always accessible and seemed to care about their guests.

Very comfortable hotel. Great menu at restaurant.

Very friendly staff. Only complaints were wifi seizure. Otherwise I would certainly return there for a longer stay on my next visit.

The hotel was good, but it was so hard to find. The Taxi drivers from the airport don't know how to get there. We drove for 3 hours before we could find the hotel. We tried calling the hotel at still 10 times no answer no voice mail, the phone just ring and ring. The breakfast that was offered with the hotel, when I get there I was told it was only for one person. Even though the room was booked with 2 adult. But the Nigeria breakfast was very good. I would stay here again if the price is right. The wifi works that good in this country.

I have now stayed in 4 different hotels in Lagos and this was by far my favorite. The pool was kept very clean and the staff was wonderful. For the price it was well worth it!

Nice boutique. Good value. pleasant stay

The service personnel were very attentive and helpful. The location was convenient and the property was clean and well maintained. Only two negatives. The first was used sheets the first two nights. I was told that my reservation through Hotels.com was not processed fully so it seems that I caught them unawares. This oversight was rectified immediately and my room was properly serviced during the remainder of my 10 night stay. The second issue was the unavailability of Wi-Fi for 3 out of the first 5 days. Since this was a business trip for me and I work part of my time in Nigeria from my hotel room, connectivity was crucial. The staff did help minimize the problem by providing me with mobile hot spot and during the remainder of my stay their internet service worked fine. Despite these two issues, the staff and service were generally great. I will definitely give them another go and stay there on my next visit.

Hotel Has very poor addressing

The hotel was booked online but could not be located. You can not reach the hotel with the displayed phone numbers. For a complete traveler like myself there was no Land mark to say where the hotel can be located
