From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. Let's talk about the water – it was absolutely breathtaking! Crystal clear and teeming with vibrant marine life, it was a snorkeler's dream come true. Exploring the colorful coral reefs and swimming alongside exotic fish was an experience I'll never forget. The resort's location provided unparalleled access to some of the most stunning underwater landscapes I've ever seen. The spaciousness of the rooms was another highlight. After a day of adventure, returning to my cozy sanctuary was pure bliss. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also beautifully appointed, offering all the amenities one could need for a perfect stay. But what truly sets this resort apart is its staff. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to go above and beyond, they made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. Their genuine warmth and willingness to assist with any request truly enhanced my stay.

We had an unbelievable experience! Waking up just feet away from private access to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island! And the staff was incredible, it felt like being with family. Highly recommended!

Wonderful vacation spot!
Gorgeous spot. Ocean side area was outstanding as was the lush courtyard. Highly recommend this location. Kitchen was well equipped. Snorkeling at site and close by.

Pros: This property is right on the edge of the water, with some of the most breathtaking views I have seen. The pool is gorgeous. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The place is quiet and easy-going. There are some cute cats around. Cons: The only room with air conditioning is the bedroom, and it’s pretty hot in the other areas, to the point that we didn’t use them much. We didn’t get hot water in the shower, though it was tolerable. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable for us. It is really firm. The bathroom connected to our room was smelly as well. Overall, we had a nice visit, and would stay again if it hadn’t been too hot with no air conditioning in the living spaces or bathrooms.

My mom and I visited Curaçao for my 35th birthday. The first two nights we stayed in Willemstad and I honestly wish we’d gone straight to Lagun Blou. The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s really quiet and peaceful (we were there in June) and we loved going down to the best local beaches (all about 5-15 min away). If you are looking for a super “resorty” Sandals type deal, this isn’t it—Lagun blou is way better. Our room didn’t have a tv and we didn’t care. The view, the stairway into the sea with amazing snorkeling, the jacuzzi on the cliff were all better than any tv show. The resort is gated and parking lot is big. There are several sweet cats that roam around and many large iguanas! The only thing that bummed us out was the pool needed vacuuming, but we spent most of our time at the beach. We ate at the local restaurants or cooked in our apartment. I loved it here and would return over and over.

Just a lovely environment! Great attention by hosts and staff to creating and maintaining this special place and to providing highly professional service. Brought back memories of stays in Europe and the Mediterranean. Cliffs to dive from, lots of beautiful fish to see in clear refreshing blue waters, hummingbirds feeding on the many flowering bushes, warm fresh breads and great coffee for breakfast, cool shady spots for reading,clean pools for soaking, an experienced and interesting dive master, nearby beach used by local families as well as tourists - what not to enjoy! While restaurants in walking distance are not fancy, you can get nice grilled fresh fish, salads and wine. We highly recommend Lagun Blou!

Everything was fantastic . Owners were great . Only drawbacks were no screens against mosquitoes but it's normally rare to have them . Just alot of recent rain I guess. It's on our list of will visit agains 😁

Nice place but be aware
Lovely property with amazing sea views. It’s next to a beautiful beach in a cove. People who run it are friendly and accommodating. You need to be aware though that it’s a two level room and the downstairs is not air conditioned, and there are plenty mosquitoes and some wasps, especially at night, although they provide you a net in the bed upstairs. Also the jacuzzi is unheated, which was a disappointment. Otherwise it’s a nice place

Awesome location, very quiet place to relax and spend your vacation. Great snorkelling and diving nearby.Perfect for couples, but not so good for families with small children since it's located on a cliff. Get some mosquito nets when coming since they're pretty heavy in the area.

Beautiful paradise. Exceptional staff. Tom and his partner were so kind and helpful. The snorkeling was amazing right off the resort. Go food shopping by the airport and enjoy home cooked meals on their beautiful terrace. The pictures cannot capture the beauty of the grounds. Make sure to stay beach front if you can and wake up to palm trees and the breeze ocean on your balcony. Lagun has the best sunsets as well. This place is quiet and serene, a bit off the grid.

This resort was amazing! Very quiet, very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we got a short tour of our villa and the grounds from Tom. From there we jumped from the cliff into the ocean (exhilarating) and enjoyed some time in the pools. We could snorkel right from the resort and the Playa Lagun beach was a short walk away. Many of the natural sights we wanted to see were all a reasonably short drive away (15-20 minutes). The staff really stepped it up on the day my wife jumped into the ocean and her wedding ring came off. By a miracle, we could see it on the bottom, 30 or so feet below. The staff went out of their way to try to help retrieve it before calling in a scuba diver who was able to do so. It made my wife and I so happy to see the amount of effort put forth. We will definitely return to this resort on our next trip to Curacao.

Really lovely resort. Loved going down the stairs and the amazing snorkeling. Felt like a private escape. I loved walking around the resort and walking a few minutes to the two restaurants by the beach. There’s good coffee to go at one of the restaurants and the other restaurant has great beach views. Great food at both. I really enjoyed watching the sunset from the resort, often joined by iguanas. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioner is a bit loud. I did turn it off at night after keeping it on until it was cold. There are lots of mosquitos all over curacao in general. There would be one or two that got into the room but nothing more than what we experienced staying elsewhere in curacao as well. I would stay here again if I go back to curacao.

Best spot in Curacao
This is the best resort I have ever stayed at. The views are unbelievable and the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you're going to stay on the west side of the island, Lagun Blou should be your destination. They have a pool overlooking the ocean. They have a spot for cliff jumping. They have iguanas. They are located next to a nice beach and within walking distance to restaurants. The staff were great too. We booked an additional night after staying for the first two nights. I would 100% stay there again.

PROS- -the staff are fantastic. Friendly and helpful. - the location of the rooms on the cliffs, cannot be beat. It was like waking up to heaven - the resort lodge had a store which was great for drinks, snacks, renting snorkel gear - friendly cats - iguanas and tropical birds - pool on the cliff - amazing beach and snorkeling area - best views on the island Cons - THE MATTRESS. It was awful. Felt like you were sleeping directly on springs. It seemed to be the main complaint throughout the resort. - the electricity cut out every day we were there for at least 6hrs. Some of the lights and outlets still worked off a backup generator, but the refrigerator did not, nor did the AC. There was a great breeze when you opened the doors, so I wasn’t as bummed about no AC, but with the fridge not working for hours, we had a lot of food spoil, plus all the ice melted - the “hot tub” was never even kind of hot. It was a complaint on many reviews I read, so I didn’t expect it to be. Overall, this was an amazing place.

Nice tropical getaway

Das Highlight des Resorts ist die einzigartige und wunderschöne Art, wie die Blumenbeete auf der Anlage angelegt sind und wie die Küste gestaltet ist. Die Gastgeber sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es im Resort noch keine Möglichkeit gibt, etwas zu Essen. Das Restaurant befindet sich aber laut Besitzer schon in Planung. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Lugar extremamente agradável, fácil de chegar de carro desde o aeroporto. Achei a localização fantástica porque tem fácil acesso às melhores praias de Curaçao (Playa Lagun é ao lado e as outras ficam a poucos quilômetros). Otrobanda e Punda ficam longe - mas não é difícil de ir de Lagun para lá de carro.

Schöne Anlage in perfekter Lage
Vorweg sollte man sich klar sein, was man möchte ?! Möchte man jeden Tag in die belebte Hauptstadt ? Dann ist diese Anlage nicht ideal dafür, da die Fahrt mit dem Auto mind. 45 min. betragen wird. Wenn man aber Ruhe und Entspannung an einem außergewöhnlichen Ort verbringen möchte, dann ist diese Anlage wirklich perfekt. Das Resort liegt auf einer Klippe direkt am Playa Lagun. Die Apartments sind Doppelhaushälften, die über zwei Etagen gehen. Alle verfügen über eine Terrasse und einen Balkon. Entweder mit Blick aufs Meer oder auf die Bucht. Die Apartments verfügen über zwei Badezimmer, Küche/Wohnzimmer und sind im Schlafzimmer mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Unverzichtbar auf dieser Insel. Die Außenanlage ist sehr schön angelegt. Mit Swimmingpool, vielen Palmen und sieht einfach nur tropisch aus. Was man wirklich kaum ein zweites Mal vorfinden wird: Man kann entweder von der Klippe ins Wasser gehen (dafür gibt es eine Treppe, die ins Wasser führt. Man kann aber auch aus 3, 5 und/oder aus 8-9m ins Wasser springen. Eine einzigartige Möglichkeit für alle Mutigen) oder man geht 2 min. zu Fuß zum Playa Lagun und geht über den Strand ins Wasser. Playa Lagun gehört übrigens zu den schönen Buchten Curacaos. Außerdem leben viele Leguane in dem Resort. Jeden Morgen kann man diese füttern und dabei schöne Fotos schießen. Alle schönen Buchten der Insel liegen im Nordwesten der Insel. Wenn man also einen Strandurlaub machen möchte dann sollte das Lagun Blou Resort die 1. Wahl sein.

Nette Anlage mit Meerblick
Nette Anlage direkt am Meer bzw an der der Lagune . Die Anlage wird gerade saniert,tägliche Arbeiten an den Häusern ,sprich bohren ,Hämmern und Fliesen schneiden! Es war sehr laut. Pool wurde nur einmal gereinigt,wurde dann von den Gästen selbst erledigt. Es gab öfters Stromausfall,war dann aber immer im gesamten Gebiet der Insel. Bitte vor Reiseantritt prüfen ob Baumaßnahmen abgeschlossen. Moskitonetze ist auch zu empfehlen. Sonst sicher eine sehr ruhige Anlage.
