"Terrible cockroach in the bathroom and beside the bed. Torn pillow case and bed sheet and noisy as this is beside the street. Don’t be fooled with the pictures … reality hotel is rundown you will be ashamed to bring your family and friends. Nothing is great only the view. "

"This place is a little dream in the craziness that is Manila. Old world little b&b with an amazing, helpful staff. The room was small but perfectly appointed with a small balcony overlooking the street. Great art and furnishings around the lobby. Also with some amazing restaurants within close walking distance. "I was looking for a quiet place with great view of the Taal Lake so I could spend a couple of days with my elderly parents before returning the the US. I narrowed down my list to 3 places: the Taal Vista, Lake Hotel and Carmelence View. Boy am I glad I chose Carmelence View! I based my decision after reading the great reviews about the place. The room is very clean. The place is very private and you feel like you are in your own private rest house. The view of the Taal Lake is awesome! And again...
