"Quiet, beautiful boutique hotel that has that Southern charm and hospitality that seems so hard to come by. From the staff to the sweet Bistro restaurant, that has an amazing bartender Caesar. Whether you choose to sit at the bar, dine in or enjoy your meal on the porch in real Southern style; Upham has everything you could wish for. My husband and I were here to leave the kids behind and enjoy our anniversary, and now it will be our go-to whenever we need to recharge."

"My family had a wonderful stay at the Sandpiper Lodge during our vacation. It's a really central location with easy freeway access. It was a very comfortable stay in a two-bedroom suite. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for my family of five, including two little kids. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub when we were not out in town. The breakfast was decent though I do think some hot breakfast items (like eggs, pancakes, bacon/sausage) would really take this location to another level. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend as an affordable Santa Barbara lodging option for families or even solo travel. 10/10"
