"We found dirty dishes in the kitchen; the inside of the kitchen cabinets had not been cleaned; stains on the carpets, dead ants and foul smell in the room. This place has seen better days."

"Pros: clean, comfy bed, good pub restaurant and coffee on site, easy parking, fridge and microwave, nice river view, very friendly staff Cons: front desk/help is only open 9-5, our room keys needed recoding daily for some reason and since front office was closed by 5 it was a rigmarole trying to get the keys updated through the bar staff, the dock in the photos was locked shut so you couldn’t actually go on it, the ice machine room was locked all the time, air con didn’t work so room was...

"Rooms face the forest which was very quiet. There were rosevelt elk on the driveway which was a lovely surprise. The room did smell a bit musty and it was quite small, especially the bathroom where the door barely swings by the toilet. It felt safe, quiet, and fairly clean."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Last minute date night booking and it did not disappoint. It is so nice that once you’re there you have everything you need, and if not the front desk will make it so. Dinner was amazing and the views are stunning. It felt like a world away even though it’s a quick drive from home. I’m already looking forward to the next visit where we will stay 2 nights instead of 1 and take advantage of the spa. Highly recommend!"
