"As other travelers have noted, this is a great overnighter place to stay. Humble, spotless, quiet, safe (solo female traveler). It's a lake view, from across Hwy 178, so don't expect you are walking distance to the lake, or anything really. Grateful these kinds of places still exist. "Friendly greeting from host upon arrival. Room was clean. View from the balcony overlooking the river was beautiful and the stars at night were incredible. Parking can be a little tight when the hotel is full, but it's minor and I'd still highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Kernville."
