"Great stay, everyone is super helpful and friendly"

"This is a great location on a beautiful beach. We had a deluxe king room with beach view, 2 nights. Ended up on first floor, balcony is badly designed with pillars in the middle and a railing blocking the view. Housekeeping never came. Asked for at least tissues and empty garbage. No one came. The bar and restaurant get close to 5 stars. Outside seating was very fun for pre-dinner drinks and app. Breakfast was great. We have eaten dinner there previously as we are local, and this was a staycation for our anniversary. So we know the restaurant. Dinner is good, not great. Construction on other half, pool closed. Hotel is older."

"We had a great stay! Love this property right on the lake. Our room (2 bedroom cottage) was wonderful. One of the hot tubs wasn’t very hot, and the coffee shop ran out of breakfast food pretty early, but otherwise we had a great time. "

"Everything about this hotel was beautiful and fun, however, we had some issues in our room that we did share with front desk at check out. (spiders everywhere in our room and a running toilet ALL night). Also, this is a dog friendly resort, we didn't know. We love dogs, so it personally didn't bother me, but our neighbors two doors down had two dogs with them, and they were outside barking in the 6am hour, probably went they went out to potty. All in all, we did enjoy our stay and we will be back."

"I stayed here last year and loved it but this time around no no no, the parking was terrible, the room we got assigned to is the first time was dirty an half the electricity was out in the room, the room new room was good but was very old wallpaper coming off in the bathroom near a pipe there was dark spots visible from toilet seat, the bed was springy in certain areas I felt like you could feel the actual spring,again I usually loveeee staying here it’s just the weekend was such a bad experience I’m not sure if I’m goingi to give a another chance until I ask if certain I stayed at before but I feel I shouldn’t have to because everything should be the same throughout the hotel"

"I have stayed at the Welk before, & enjoyed myself...But this trip, there were a couple of incidents that made it less than perfect. A member of my party wanted to use the grill located about 20 feet away from my villa. I had called 3 times(twice 1 day & once the next)to the Maintenance department for that grill to be cleaned. It was never cleaned!! But a Welk rep did come out to take a picture, why? I have no clue. On one of the times I'd called, the rep said there was a miscommunication because there was a report that someone was using the grill. This caused my party to completely change our dinner menu! Perhaps with the Summer season fast approaching, it will be wise to have a system in place that creates a ticket for each request, then make sure to follow up with the guest!! Don't make assumptions!!! Also, the sliding Screen door from the living room onto the balcony should be checked/ oiled. The screen was EXTREMELY difficult to open and close! Again...these two hiccups made our trip less than what I came to expect from the Welk."

"Solo traveler. The room was big, clean and updated. I had a nice big balcony overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was good. The location was great for walking. "

"All kitchen utensils were provided which was very helpful. There was a pool, fire pit, grill area, basketball court and fitness center. Breakfast was also served every morning and was really good with multiple option. Overall, the stay was very nice, quiet and conveniently located by other stores and restaurants."
