"I stay in this hotel a few times each year, but this time I booked "wrong room" that was not convenient to stay with my dog. The front desk customer check in person could not change the room because "I did not use their website and manager was in Reno". The dog area grass was not cut, and we caught a tick. Otherwise, it is a great hotel to stay in with a companion dog."

"For an old building it was well maintained, rooms were clean, and staff were very kind and helpful!"

"Smelly, old, dated furniture, king bed had taken 90% of the space. This dump needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Arrived at 3 and was told it will cost me more to check an hour early! Just awful. Paid 150 for garbage! I feel cheated! Stay away from this dump."

"We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...

"I booked this bed and breakfast the night before the check in date. I arrived at 930pm to find I should have received an access code via email in order to access the property and check in to my room. I did not receive an email with the access code and there was no staff on site. So, at 10pm I had to find other accommodations. I messaged the staff thru the Expedia app and left a voicemail. I’ve still not received a reply or a refund notice for the room night."

There were some indications, such as dust on the windowsill and a plastic bottle cap under the dresser, that they don’t pay a lot of attention to cleaning. The hotel is very close to the interstate, and if it weren’t for the noisy window air conditioner, the sound of traffic would’ve been too much. "Overall great stay! Only complaint is the window coverings, they give you privacy but do not block the sunlight at all. If you want to sleep past 8 am you should bring a sleep mask otherwise the room will be filled with light. A small investment in black out drapes would make a world of difference."
