Centrally located to Northstar and Palisades, Lodge was very convenient and comfortable. Beds are good,lots of pillows, water fountains, free breakfasts, easy parking (free), nice staff, good AC/heater. This hotel is a good value vs. most other options in the area.

For the price it was a fine hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Also loved that we didn't need to run the HVAC unit because the temperature remained steady and perfect without it. The only thing that could possibly improve was the free breakfast. It wasn't bad but wasn't beyond average. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Beautiful Lodge obviously winter outdoor amenities not usable. Only criticisms would be unusually small pillows on the king sized bed. Limited continental breakfast items Non Functioning machines. Did love the Coffee Dispenser in the lobby.

Place is well located, pending on room location can be a bit noisy due to traffic on 80. Breakfast is super simple but ok; do not expect a hot tub after ski because it’s not working or pool. If you want a good movie at night bring your tablet, nothing but old tv series . Staff very friendly. Overall ok for the price.

Everything was very-good to excellent! But the room key card had glitches & I had to slip it in&out of door slot multiple attempts every time I tried to enter room.. had a key reprogrammed 2x then both keys stopped working as I returned from full day out, really needed to get into room & bathroom . They need to get an improved card key system, Also desk manager stepped away from front desk in evening for about 10 + min & a line up of new check ins were wondering where she was..( I needed my cardkey replaced again) There should be a card or note that says ‘Be Right Back’ at the desk. Otherwise breakfast & room staff great & I tipped well.

It’s an affordable hotel, and the guest services were very accommodating, especially Stephanie and Kelly. They accommodated our requests. The staff are excellent, and the room we had had a good back view of the snow, as we requested. Ty so much.

Basic, clean room. Decent breakfast w/hot offerings (eggs, bacon, fully automated/hands off pancake machine) and the usual cold offerings: bagels, bread, muffins, instant oatmeal, bananas. One thing though-- there was NO HAIR DRYER in the room, which I hadn't expected. So, be forewarned. This hotel has NO HAIR DRYERs.

This is my seco d time staying here and it's great. We come to visit and fish around Truckee, typically in more of the off-season and we have had wonderful experiences each time. Love the pillows. This last time we stayed in a room right next to the elevator so it was a little npisy, but otherwise great.
