The only thing to know was that the hotel is located a bit out of Pucon and if you try to get to Pucon in the evening you will very possibly hit traffic at tge entrance of town. "We requested a late arrival, on a pre-paid stay. I have an ill written response that it was not possible. I informed I would notify Expedia. I received an “ok”. I did so, and Expedia notified me, in written form that they had attempted in a 40 hour period to contact the indicated phone number with no response. Having lived in Chile for over 30 years this IS NOT ATYPICAL of business owners to avoid addressing an issue directly and in a professional manner. Expedia informs me that there will be no refund as they were unable to contact said establishment. Expedia is not culpable. The dishonesty, lack of professionalism, pitiful communication skills (I have his WatsApp statement at below grade school level) and indifference knowing it was pre-paid shows what he chooses to be. I do not recommend this establishment under any circumstances. "

"The woman in the front office was very kind and friendly. She even gave us an upgrade to a larger room at no extra charge. She was flexible and let us check in early. The room itself was spotless and everything worked. It had a complete kitchen with everything we needed to cook several meals. The bathroom even had a bidet attachment which is often unavailable when travelling. The hotel's windows had stunning views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful and there is even a pool and area to sit and picnic (or drink) on the hill of the property overlooking the lake. This hotel is listed as "pet friendly" and it is, but we were pleasantly surprised that there were no animal odors or fur in our room. Again, it was spotless. I can't say enough for the yellow cat (one of the owner's themes) Los Gualles (etc.) Hotel in Pucón. "
