"The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area."

The only downside was that there were no almond milk or lactose-free milk options available, which would have been nice for guests with dietary restrictions. "Good parking - eating places within walking distance"

"The breakfast was good, service was quick. The only complaint was that when we asked if we needed reservations for supper they said no but did not mention the restaurant closed at 6. We went over at 7:30 pm then noticed the sign, there was nothing else open in the town unfortunately "

"Breakfast room was unfinished; food was sparse, chose not to eat there. Property run down. Town itself was nearby and cute. Ate breakfast at Day Break Cafe and dinner at Just for the Halibut. All restaurant staff friendly and fun and the woman at the British Shoppe was very pleasant and helpful. "

"Highly recommend! This hotel is a tiny bit dated but otherwise the best hotel I’ve stayed at this year. We stay at hotels at least 6-8 times a year between my kids different competitions and will be recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Peterborough. Staff were great, pool was heated, hot tub was actually hot. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Appreciated the free breakfast that had early hours so I could actually use it. "We had a wonderful stay, very clean property, friendly staff. I love that our room was clean everyday. I enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub some of the reasons I chose to stay here. The waterfront view was very pleasant even though it was still cold and raining while we were there. All and all a great time."

"Beautiful cottage resort our hockey team loved staying at. Having evening camp fires and afternoon fishing was perfect. I wish we had time for golf, the course looks amazing. My only complaint is that the resort is huge and they have little to no walking trails connecting the 2 areas together, it was faster to drive and that's not ideal. "
