The hotel that was booked was under renovation and was not even open. When the phone number that was provided in the conformation email was called it was to a different hotel which had no reservation record for the name or conformation number.

They are renovating they take reservation then send you to another hotel not your choice , they sent me 2st time to a decent hotel second time a low class drug dealer hotel with bed bugs and noise all night 11pm till 730 am

Got to the counter, with a lobby full of mattresses and rugs. Then told I wasn’t staying there - bait and switch! I chose THAT LOCATION for a reason! Then told I had a choice of 2 other hotels and that they would take payment now. Long story short, they then charged me 3tines for a 1night stay! I brought it to their attention upon checkout, and they told me they would take care of it, and did nothing! I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank in order to get my credits! And it wasn’t paid employees I spoke with who initiated the charges, it was the OWNER!

First, the hotel is closed for renovation and NO mention of that on the listing. We had to be relocated to another motel which was terrible as well.

Hotel was not open. We attempted to stay on Nov. 1. There was a sign on the door stating the office was only open 7am-11pm (Nothing about the office hours was listed on the hotels.com profile). The door to the hotel was locked, and no answer when we arrived at 11:02 pm. Through the locked door we could see several large carpet rolls. There were no other cars in the parking lot. I saw on other reviews that they got sent to a different hotel, which makes me think they are under renovation right now.

We got to the hotel and it was closed. There were no attendants at the desk and the front sliders did not open. We called twice that night with no answer so we were forced to book another (more expensive) hotel for the weekend. I called the next morning to try to get an understanding of that happened and they said “a manager would call me back when he was available” which has not happened within 24 hours of me calling.

First of all the hotel I booked is not the hotel I got. I know you get what you pay for but I didn’t even get what I paid for (talk about false advertising) I specifically booked a room with a pool view. I get to the Lakeland Hotel and it was under construction. The man at the desk said, we need to send you to our other property down the road. I had been driving all day I was exhausted. It was a La Quinta, and it was run down and unclean. There was a sign on the elevator saying “elevator works” which was concerning, the floors in the hallway look like they have never been vacuumed. The room was decent. I will say the woman at the front desk was nice and helpful but I was very disappointed in the whole situation. Expedia said check out was Noon and he said “it’s 11 we don’t do that” I asked him multiple times to honor what it said on Expedia and eventually he did.

We booked a specific room for the night, they called to ensure we were coming and we stated yes; nothing more to the phone call. Showed up only to be told that they didn't have a room for us and were transferring us to a completely different hotel. Not only were we not told over the phone 2 hrs prior to getting to the property, we missed our reservation that we had and the reason for coming to the area. This was inconvenient and shows that the owner/mgmt was incompetent by not removing the vacancy from sites and they did not inform their staff until the last minute.
