"We stayed for 9 days and, unfortunately, our room was not cleaned once, even though we understood that housekeeping should have been provided after day 5.
We have stayed at the Grove during spring break in previous years, but this experience felt very different. The resort seemed significantly overcrowded, and it appeared there were not enough staff to support the number of guests. While every staff member we interacted with was pleasant, they also seemed understandably overworked.
During our stay, the fire alarm went off twice — once late at night and again the following morning — which was quite disruptive. There was also a noticeable police presence one evening, which made us uncomfortable.
Additionally, the pool areas were extremely crowded. In order to secure seating, guests needed to arrive as early as 8am, which is not what we would expect during a vacation.
Overall, this was not the experience we were hoping for, especially given our positive stays in the past."
