"On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality."

The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. "We have stayed here a couple of times now and love it here. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with some of my favourite toiletries in the bathroom and Tunnock biscuits for a snack. "Great hotel , beautiful decor , booked a club king and once we got it after being put in what I think was a double , was well worth the money , good deep baths , only thing I would say is if you are on the front of the building the road is busy all night , we were told this and asked if this was ok , we didn’t mind but if your like peace and quiet ask for a back room "
