"Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Newport News was one of the worst on our US roadtrip. We had to change rooms during our 2 day stay because of non-working door-locks. The entire facility is poorly maintained. Bedlinen are dirty, all family members had bites from bedbugs all over their bodies after our stay there. Rooms are not well cleaned, ACs are dirty and full of dust. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Cannot compare to Holiday Inn Hotels here in Europe, a house like this would have had...

"when you turn on the light in the bathroom, the noise is so loud and high-pitched that you cannot use the light. You also cannot stay in the bathroom long enough to take a shower because of the insanely loud noise coming from the light. "Too expensive for what you get "

"Room was clean but did not have a trash can other then bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable, shower pressure not great. Hot tub in the pool room was broken. 2 different days we went to pool and there were no towels. For the hotel we honestly expected more. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. "
