"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. We had some trouble finding the accomodation, so make sure you double check the address beforehand, but Lynda was a dear guiding us there and was always available for questions during the stay. "When I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the owner and all of the members of staff that I met. I had an excellent dinner on two nights at the hotel and once again the staff were excellent offering a very personal service. On one of the nights the restaurant was quite busy but it didn't affect the great service or the time it took to prepare my meal. It was the same at breakfast where the choices were excellent. "

"We stayed at the Starling Cloud for one night as we were attending a funeral at the nearby crematorium. The rooms are in a block away from the main pub so more quiet than you might expect. The room was clean with a comfortable mattress so we had a good night’s sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. "

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :).
