Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. "The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. "A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit."

"We loved this boutique hotel and we stayed here for 9 night. Mid stay we received an upgrade and wine however we had to ask for it. The view was Amazing! Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Everyone who was assisting us was very helpul and friendly. Not the best area around the hotel but we felt safe. The room was very clean, hotel was beautiful decorated with art and special touches. If we ever come back to Quito we are going to stay here. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."
