"It's a nice place for the price, the only down side for me was just the location is a little noisy/ the walls aren't insulated well. But the staff were super helpful and friendly! Definitely a nice place to stay if you're on a budget. "

"Everything was great from start to finish. The room was well equipped, the beds were firm but comfortable. The pillows were probably some of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was fabulous! Eggs made to order, fresh fruit, fruit juice, hot chocolate, coffee, bread with butter and cheese. Very good and filling. "A fine and warmly family operated old building tastefully updated to meet the needs of travelers visiting the area. And just an easy block and a half walk from the Plaza Grande; what more could you ask for? looking hard to find something to fault, the only thing I can think of is that the showerhead was a little difficult to reach in order to direct the flow of water. I hope that Lucia and her son Luis will be there to welcome me when I next visit their fair city."
"Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!"
"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay.
