"We have travelled across Spain and Portugal and this hotel and the town is an absolute gem. Fabulous recently renovated room with superb bed, crisp fresh linen and the best pillows. Superb shower and double basins. Kettle and coffee maker which was an unexpected bonus. Beautiful hotel and lovely garden terrace by the river for drinks outside. Highly recommended!!!"

"Las habitaciones estaban bien, nos tuvieron que cambiar porque pedimos una con dos camas y nos dieron una con una cama individual, pero lo solucionaron sin problema. En la habitaciĆ³n nueva, es verdad que el aire no funcionaba, pero bueno. Destaco la amabilidad de atendernos para hacernos la cena a la hora a la que llegamos que tampoco nos pusieron pegas y eso lo agradecemos. En general bien, camas cĆ³modas, buen baƱo."

"With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. It is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very very minor point but there was no plugs for the kitchen sink - we did enquire but were told there weren't any."
