"The staff was friendly and tended to our concerns promptly. Unfortunately, there were many issues. Biggest one was that as of about midnight, we had no water. "I enjoyed staying at Hotel Garcia, the workers were helpful and lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel grounds are relaxing and well maintained, very nice. I would definitely stay there again when visiting SJDS."

"The rooms were clean and adequate for three adults. The staff was welcoming and very helpful; organized a taxi to take my 83 year old mother to a coffee shop downtown. It is in a quiet location and a good area to unplug from electronic devices. If you have mobility issues, you won’t have much to do but sit and look out at the beach from the patio. The swimming pool has a ladder to climb in and out, so we were not able to use the pool at all. We would stay here again if our plan is to relax."

"This was our second stay here. We came back as it is the place to go if you go to San Juan Del Sur and want to relax and be away from the busy life of town AND there is a beach nearby. Has a Mama Mia vibe to it. Perhaps we were off season, but the food was not as good as our first visit. I kept being promised they would have the peanut butter chocolate bars “tomorrow”, but these delicious bars I enjoyed last time never materialized. I think next time we will try a different place."
