"First off, let's note that the Flamingo's rates are superb. Pimp up your room a few levels and they're still cheap. That's great, I love it, and it frames everything else I'm going to say.
Location is excellent. Quite central. LINQ Promenade has multiple eating options, nextdoor Cromwell has a 2-for-1 happy hour special with mad good cocktails, near the fun of the Bellagio fountains and the cheaper food options outside Paris, central to Strip. Pools are good too.
The rates are excellent. So that's the grain of salt. But wow the check-in woman was in a bad mood, and my room was almost comical with noise (pool bass + elevator noise + old and loud aircon), but honestly they kind of balanced out into white noise. Nobody came to handle my room over 4 days, despite me asking for it, but again it's dead cheap.
Still, I will continue staying here. Most of the staff (not check-in, but check-out was lovely) were excellent, so central, pool, views, great nearby food options, big net positive."
