"Like staying in a museum. "

"The room & bed were ok, but there was no place to hang a coat, let alone towels or any other clothing. Our TV remote didn’t work, so we asked for batteries. Instead, they gave us a second remote that was also dead. Check out time was 11 am, so we were unpleasantly surprised to have housekeeping try to get in our room at 8 am! Then, when we went to breakfast, we couldn't use any of the appliances bcuz running the microwave & toaster at the same time tripped a fuse - and no one knew how to fix it! The staff was clueless. We would not return to this hotel."

"This historic Fred Harvey property was clean and attractive. It was renovated and reopened in 2019. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and anticipated and fulfilled our every need. We’ve stayed here several times in the past and will stay here again, highly recommend. "
