"This hotel went beyond our expectations. On arrival met by friendly helpful staff. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and on ground floor as requested. The gardens are amazing. Dinner in restaurant was very enjoyable. There is ample free parking at the hotel and also has a spa (extra charge) attached.
Im not sure how far the nearest station was as we were there by car which enabled us to visit various places.
Every member of staff were helpul and friendly.
I wouldnt hesitate to revisit this...

"Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier."

"the room was not cleaned properly with chip containers and dirty glass under our bed- the coffee machine was not cleaned and full of mold in the water holder,and when brought to staff attention it was not addressed properly said chip containers still under bed and they just rinsed out the coffee maker and did not swap it out for full cleaning--the staff was cold mostly and not very helpful- the breakfast was nice but the staff was looking over you and removing plates before you were done

"A nice stay very friendly staff and lovely views of the racecourse. Bar closed too early and check out took to long as only one person on reception. Other than that everything was great. Really good water pressure in the shower."
