"Hotel is very hot during summer time as they do not have aircond. If we open the window all the flies are coming in. Old hotel, no elevator. Away from the city center."

"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. "The stay at the Blumental Hotel was fantastic. The reception and staff are very kind and helpful, the room was clean and everything functioned well. The breakfast was, although simple, very good and tasty and varied enough for my taste."

"Amazing property for families. Boys loved the bunk beds and the arcade game. Only downside was it was a bit too hot the first night although there was a floor fan in the room. I would recommend putting in a proper ceiling fan for the hot summer nights. Would absolutely stay again!!"
