"Room was dirty and dusty. There was dust everywhere. Carpet was filthy in hall and room. The wallpaper in our room was peeling from the ceiling because of moisture. there was two large wet spots in the carpet. The bathroom was filthy and looked like it had been mopped and grime had just been pushed up against the shower. There was soap grime on the soap containers that were empty and hair all in the shower. "

"While the staff was amazing, the room was standard. The wifi is horrible. Between the smart tv that required internet, and speeds of less than 1mb down, you cannot watch tv without buffering and dont even try to do any work on a laptop.
The staff was the highlight. They were amazing, but ownership really needs to evaluate the horrible internet. They offered breakfast which was standard fare. At the end of the day, it is a bed, with subpar shower and horrible internet. Would not stay again, except for the hospitality of the staff."

"Very clean rooms and bathrooms, amazing shower, extremely helpful and responsive staff on any needs, my only suggestions would be update coffee to be better (look at Fairfield inn coffee and get ideas) and update the bedding style of comforter. Beds were comfortable, great Cable channel choices and great Texas Charm. Go to the Kountry Bakery- and coffee house in Shiner Texas. We also loved Mexican food on the square and see the courthouse "

"Breakfast hot food was cold. Someone forgot to light the fire, I suppose. The hotel was clean. I'd recommend it. Remodeling was being done. It'll look great when all is done. The parking lot was well lit. Access to the hotel was good. Everything around it was convenient. "
