"I was hesitant about staying on the island due to the reviews however, I pulled the plug and WOW what an amazing experience in so many ways! I fell in love with the hotel, the island, its people, the staff. Truly beautiful and lively experience. Particularly at night when all the tourists were mostly gone it felt like just for a moment I was at home. This experienced truly ignited a spark in me to take a leap and finally transition back to where my ancestors were born in France and Spain. "We stayed at the hotel during Bastille Day. The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of it all. We enjoyed wonderful live entertainment in the restaurant downstairs, delicious food and drinks, and then strolled along the ocean walk to watch the spectacular fireworks display celebrating France’s national day. An unforgettable experience. Our room had a lovely view of the beach and a small fortress out in the sea. The room itself was in great condition with a very comfortable bed. The staff were both friendly and accommodating. On top of that, the hotel interior was stylish — above average, for sure. Highly recommended! Note: If you’re arriving by car, be aware that the streets are narrow, it can be crowded, and parking is limited. However, there’s an underground parking facility just nearby."
