"My family LOVED this apartment. We were only there for one night but wished we were staying longer! You walk into a small door off the city wall and enter into a place you want to live. It is decorated perfectly with ample room to spread out and be cozy. The location is perfect looking over the wall, accessing the main street or just watching the tourists go by!

"We stayed at Hotel Gabriel in July as a family of 5, three teen boys. The 'family room' included a queen bed and a loft with beds for the boys. The ladder to the loft was steep but it was ok since our kids are older. The room did not have a/c, only a large floor fan and we kept the one window open when we were in the room. The hotel itself is basic. Nothing fancy, but good for a one night stay that was very close and convenient to Mont Saint Michel. The shower/tub combo was a rare treat...

Surprise: 5pm check-in is unusually late for a check-in time, to charge 15€ for 2pm check-in makes it fell penny pinching. Breakfast is also charged as an extra for 15€, standard cold euro-breakfast of breads, cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. It's in their own restaurant, a crêperie, you would think a nice crêpe for breakfast but no, big disappointment.
