Pool was unexpectedly “closed for maintenance” on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. We booked this hotel for the ability to swim with family while in town.
Also was charged an additional $70 without explanation.

Disappointing
Customer service at check in was nonexistent. No greeting, no how can I help you, I felt like I was inconveniencing her by needing to check in. The facilities and rooms are very clean so no complaints there. Room temp was impossible to regulate, it was either too hot or too cold. The shower was absolutely awful. The water pressure was so high it felt like I was being stabbed by tiny daggers. No matter how I turned the shower head it was still painful. I normally have great experiences at Home 2 Suites, this won’t stop me from staying at others, but I will not stay at this particular place again.
Stayed here for a quick business trip in December. Overall it was a 5 out of 10. The breakfast was exceptional, staff great. However the location is extremely close to a train depot and the trains were running well after midnight and started up very early, so it made for a restless night sleep, for that reason I would not stay there again.
Home2 gave our room to someone else & we were left without a place to stay. Don't know how they could do this as room was paid for & reservation confirmed.
Great location that was close to dining, etc. Easy parking and well lit. The only down sides: the pool was closed, the smell upon entering the building is nasty but only in the lobby. It was clean and I could not figure out where the nasty smell came from. One of the housekeepers was amazing, personable and introduced herself... the other not so much. There was a knock on the door - upon opening the door I find a person with a coat on that just looked at me and asked if I needed anything. I had no clue who she was as she did not identify herself and there was no cleaning cart with her.
It’s like a more smaller town version of a big city hotel… not a negative comment on any way and maybe it’s just my perspective. I still think no matter what, Hilton is by far my favored brand in hospitality and guest services.
Very disappointed when we entered room. Carpet and furniture were stained. Floors needed a good vacuum as there was a lot of dog hair present. Bathroom had a lot of curly hair all over floor and i had housekeeping come re-clean. Room was big enough for the family but will not be staying again.
My family really enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was delicious and the areas were very clean and neat. The organization of the rooms was great with lots of high storage which is helpful with our small children.
Hair on bathroom floor and shower
Mirror spotty
Room gets hot or cold. Very inconsistent temperature on system
Hard time sleeping
Microwave breakfast options-pathetic…

Room was big, clean, nice kitchenette, bed was not too comfortable, no hot tub, pool was nice, I slept good, breakfast was nice, coffee was bad but hotel coffee is never good. Would stay here again.
The idea behind the name is it's literally like a little home you have a little kitchen and they offer a skillet to cook. It's just a nice little place to stay especially if you enjoy home cooked meals instead of takeout.
We styed there for two nights, and had a wonderful experience, our only complaint would be the bathroom had two doors, and neither one worked correctly. They would not close all the way, and was extremely hard to move. They were pocket doors so there was hardly anything to hold onto while trying to move them. We ended up leaving one closed as much as we could and only used the one door that we could somewhat maneuver. We were very happy with our stay and will be back I'm sure
