"Very nice hotel, very nice location. Very close to all shops. Food quality at breakfast basket is excellent. The host is very friendly, cooperative and helpful. Guesthouse has free parking space which is very helpful. Best thing is view from our bedroom window, this was owe some."

Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend."

"Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again"

"We stayed for one night and our room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed was king sized and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel also has a well- stocked and reasonably- priced bar. Ideal for a night cap!"

"A perfect B&B, gorgeous rooms and meticulously cleaned. Breakfast is small but good, the host is helpful and welcoming. The only downside is that it’s quite high up above town, the walk is a bit nasty, but a lovely view."

"The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly,having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!"
