"The hotel and service were impeccable. The Concierge/Doormen were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room decor was not exactly my taste, it felt a bit tacky - not sure if it was a connection to the buildings history or a nod to the neighbourhood but without explanation it felt a bit cheap."

"The Design suite was so spacious and absolutely spotless. The hotel is really close to the train station, which is a big advantage. Staff was very warm and helpful - they got our luggage into our rooms as we checked in early and were out for the day."

"I read reviews, good and bad before we came and it’s all true. The hotel is on a street with strip clubs and casinos and the alley way to the hotel from the street felt unsafe (drunk/ drugged groups of people every time we walked through) and there’s no security in the hotel - you don’t need a key card to go in the lift or corridors.
BUT once you’re in the hotel it’s great! Friendly staff, clean, spacious room and delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location near the main station. I haven’t knocked a star off for the shady street and would stay there again."
