"There was a storm in the area when we arrived which had caused some issues during check-in. We had booked the room for 5 days, however, I had to move to another room because of the computer glitch. However, the day manager did contact me about the problem since our room had apparently been double booked. He helped me out with the price and also looked in depth for my wife's heated coffee cup that she had left in the lobby. He dug through the trash to find it but to no avail. He was way beyond...

"We chose a king suite on the third floor. I am really critical about cleanliness, but I’ll have to say this room was spotless. The makeover that they did in March is just beautiful. I felt very comfortable in this room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were very helpful. And the breakfast was much more than we expected. The only thing that made us somewhat uncomfortable was the hotel next-door. There were some pretty sketchy people in their parking lot, but definitely no reflection...

"We really enjoyed our two night stay at Skyland. It’s an older property which had a nice feel to it. The location was great and the views were spectacular, and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the nearby restaurant each day, and although the food was pretty good, the service was not. Our order was stuffed up both nights and it was hard to even get our order taken in the morning. As long as you have patience, you will enjoy the restaurant too. Good stay overall."

"For check in they send you an email with the code to the entrance door and your room. Be on the look out for that. Parking is tricky. There is a public parking lot behind the the property that allows three hour parking during the weekday, unlimited during the weekend. Rooms are chic, well maintained, clean. Lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants in walking distance."

"Had high expectations for this stay, first the good, staff, and I mean the single concierge on property was very kind, helpful and super courteous. Very nice young man.The main building has a nice early century feel dating back 300 years of history. Our complaint is with the room itself, it’s not well appointed, the bed sheets and pillows are OK but the bed is worn out and stiff ( you can feel the springs). I have the custom of rating cleanes buy the bathroom and must say that having black mold...

"We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast type place so we didnt know what to expect. The grounds are very beautiful, the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Fresh croissants which were amazing for breakfast. It was a good experience."
