"Extremely hot during visit and hotel has no air con. Therefore difficult to sleep as did not cool down at all. The hotel is on a main road just off the motorway. It’s 20km from berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. It has no real amenities close by except supermarkets and a gas station. We ate in Berchtesgaden as it had life and better option. The hotel is ok for an overnight stay."

"Kommen gerne wieder, wenn sich die Möglichkeit ergibt! Das Frühstück ist top, es ist alles Bio und es gab sogar eine kleine Osterüberraschung. Das Fitnessstudio ein Wahnsinn, und der Spa Bereich ist auch sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten einen Gutschein für die Bar, leider konnten wir diesen aber nicht mehr einlösen, da sie um 9 bereits geschlossen war (ohne Info). Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und das Bett sehr gemütlich. "We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. It was just one night so we chose a family room for the four of us, including our two young adult children. The room was exactly as pictured except even more comfortable than expected! The balcony wrapped around two sides with stunning views. We enjoyed the convenience of the little beer garden restaurant right next-door. It was very convenient to get to Bertchesgaten for our morning tour."

"Breakfast was superb. Property exceptionally clean but communication from staff poor. We were not told about the local travel cards until we read about these locally. The lounge area is completely locked up before 9pm so there are no communal areas after then. Not sure if any staff remain in the premises overnight?"
