"This hotel is a gem!! Flanked by stunning 360 degree views of the snow capped mountains and the valley below we were totally enchanted. Our host was so friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions on where to hike and where to eat. Their breakfast was extensive - eggs , cured meats , breads and cakes. We couldn’t ask for more. "Lovely staff. Beautiful rooms, large superking bed…bed was very firm but still a good quality bed. . The only negative was that our neighbours allowed their dog to bark constantly day and night… and the staff said they couldn’t come to an agreement with them… as in make them move rooms! We love dogs, we have our own but they are well behaved. If I’d have been shouting outside my neighbors room I’m sure I would have been told to shut up, so how is this "

"Very pleasant stay. Clean room and helpful staff (although available hours were limited to check-in and check-out times). Great location close to train station, Gornergrat Railway, and the main street. We could see the Matterhorn from our window. We appreciated the shared amenities, from well-equipped kitchen and canteen area to luggage storage we used before check-in to laundry (for a small fee)."
